Hygiene Education Strategy

Capacity building of borehole committees

With the ever increasing breakdown of rural hand pumps, VAO seeks to capacitate borehole committees with skills for sustainable water supply. Our training program covers a wide range of topics with special emphasis on hardware repair that enables to gain employable skills. Monthly coalition meetings

Vulnerable Aid Organization organize meetings with other stakeholders with a view to forming pressure groups to advocate for the good sanitation and community cleanliness in the beneficiary municipality.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation

With the ever increasing unemployment in Ghana, VAO aims at providing an integrated support for start-ups and small-scale agribusinesses. VAO focuses on providing business development services to individuals to enable them grow and become successful. VAO stimulate young people to gain employable skills that provides the youth with entrepreneurial skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. This type of competence can enable them to start and develop their own business, help smaller companies grow and scale-up faster, and contribute to restructuring and innovation in existing businesses



Majority of the world’s poor are believed to be women as two-thirds of the world’s illiterates are female (UN, 2015). Of the millions of school-age children not in school, majority are girls. Indeed, the rights of women and girls are vehemently violated in Africa especially Ghana and are been exposed to social and economic vulnerability due to inherited cultures.

We work with women groups in various communities to understand the real need and together we develop strategies for their growth and development




Advocacy(SRHR Programmme)

The highest priority of Vulnerable Aid is to promote effective initiatives that serve the areas that need them most. We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. PWDs are able to access their share of the 3% MP common fund at the district assembly's office of economic activities. Health Intervention. We provide medical support to children/persons living with epilepsy.
